Currently serving as the U.S. Head of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Strategy and Operations at Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation, Dr. Anderson spearheads the alignment of culture and strategic priorities throughout the organization.

She represents Novartis on the PhRMA DEI Board, working to advance equity, and inclusion efforts across the industry. A distinguished scholar, Dr. Anderson earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from Dillard University followed by a master’s degree in clinical psychology from the University of Northern Iowa. She completed her doctoral work in Management and Organizational Leadership at the University of Phoenix. She was also selected as 1 of 200 women nationally by Bank of America, for a certification in Women’s Entrepreneurship at Cornell.

Remaining actively involved in numerous organizations, Dr. Anderson is a member of the National Association of Professional Women, Healthcare Businesswomen's Association, Women of Color in Pharma and the founder of Women of Vision Memphis—a group dedicated to providing networking opportunities and support for professional women.

Outside her professional accomplishments, Dr. Anderson embodies a spirit of servant leadership. She co-organized Free Hugs Memphis, an initiative spreading encouragement and hope throughout the city. She serves as a mentor to aspiring young women and college students, as well as a personal coach for doctoral students. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., a national public service organization of college-educated women. Driven by her passion to make a positive impact, Dr. Anderson finds joy in traveling, reading and helping others live in purpose.
